Steady Install works with commercial clients who require professional, job-ready installers for office furniture, racking, and architectural system installations.This is not entry-level work. Our clients expect installers who can arrive on site prepared, communicate clearly, and perform with minimal supervision.
If you are not already experienced with commercial installations, this role will not be a fit.

COMPENSATION
Steady Install uses an experience-based leveling system determined by:
-Prior commercial installation experience
-Access to required tools
-On-site performance and reliability
-Installers can earn up to $24.50/hour based on experience and role.
-Eligible installers are paid nightly after work is completed. Full details on experience levels and compensation are provided during
signup.
THIS ROLE IS A FIT IF YOU:
-Have prior commercial furniture or racking installation experience
-Can work independently or as part of a professional install crew
-Can follow install plans or site direction without hand-holding
-Own the tools required for your experience level
-Are punctual, reliable, and professional on job sites
-Can communicate clearly in English
THIS ROLE IS NOT A FIT IF YOU:
-Are looking for general labor or moving-only work
-Have never installed commercial furniture or systems
-Need extensive training on job sites
-Do not own tools for experienced installer roles
-Cannot communicate effectively with site leads or clients
-Can’t operate with minimal supervision at times
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS (STRONG PLUS)
Experience installing commercial systems from the following manufacturers is a strong plus:
-Herman Miller
-Steelcase
-Knoll / MillerKnoll
-DIRTT Construction Systems
The following certifications are also a plus:
-OSHA 10/30
-Forklift certification
-Scissor lift certification
Bilingual (English / Spanish) installers are a plus.Installers with relevant system experience, certifications, strong communication skills and work well with the team they are assigned to; are prioritized for higher-complexity projects and repeat client work.
THE WORK
-Office furniture systems and reconfigurations
-Pallet racking installations
-Case goods and accessories
-Architectural and modular systems
-Corporate, commercial and government job sites
-Primarily local work, but some travel and overnight shifts are available
CONSISTENT WORK FOR TOP INSTALLERS
Steady Install supports clients with daily and weekly repeat installation needs.
Installers who perform well, communicate professionally, and accept more shifts, can be kept consistently busy for clients with daily work and long term projects.
More availability + installation skills + good on site team player = more earning opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS
-Reliable transportation
-Prior installation or skilled trade experience (required)
-Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders
-Strong communication and professionalism
-Must be authorized to work in the United States
