Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to perform skilled carpentry work on residential and/or commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of construction methods, can read blueprints, and works efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install framing, drywall, trim, doors, windows, and cabinetry
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Install formwork, blocking, backing, and finish carpentry as required
Ensure work meets building codes and project specifications
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Work independently or as part of a crew
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Requirements:
3+ years of carpentry experience (commercial or residential)
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
Knowledge of construction materials and methods
Experience using power and hand tools
OSHA 10 preferred
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
