Summary:
Performs basic wire harness assembly tasks under supervision, learning essential manufacturing processes, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, strip, route, tape, and bundle wires following instructions
• Load parts onto boards; install terminals and connectors using hand tools
• Visually inspect own work
• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications:
No prior experience needed, able to follow instructions, good manual dexterity, basic reading and math skills.

Cable and Harness Operator – Skilled (Level II)
Pay: Up to $21/hr

Summary:
Independently assembles complex wire harnesses, ensuring product quality and production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble harnesses and cables, read schematics and work instructions
• Use hand and pneumatic tools for crimping and assembly
• Perform inspections and troubleshoot defects
• May help train entry-level staff

Qualifications:
1–3 years relevant experience, able to work with documentation and meet quality standards independently.

Cable and Harness Operator – Solder Certified (Level III)

Summary:
Performs advanced soldering and assembly for wire harnesses and electronic components, following industry workmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand solder and rework wires, connectors, and PCB interfaces
• Assemble high-reliability harnesses with strict tolerances
• Inspect solder joints to IPC standards
• Assist with troubleshooting and process improvement

Qualifications:
3+ years in assembly or electronics, solder certification required, able to read electrical schematics, high attention to detail.

Working Conditions (All Levels):

• Prolonged sitting, repetitive hand motion, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
• Moderate to noisy environment, warehouse climate varies
• Must wear PPE, able to see fine details and colors, communicate in English
