We manufacture commercial and residential countertops and looking for an additional CNC operator and fabricator. The shop is about 15 mins southwest of Austin. The CNC machine is a Donatoni Jet.
**Must know how to draw basic shapes in AutoCAD**
Job duties include:
- Draw pieces in AutoCAD
- Import into CNC program
- Create cut program within CNC software (we will provide training).
You will be required to fabricate between programs.
- Fabricating/polishing granite, quartz and solid surface countertops.
- Cut and polish under-mount sink holes
- Glue up and polish laminated and miter edges
- Use hand tools to cut and bore holes in tops
- Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of 100+ lbs is required where equipment is not manageable.
Typical work hours are Monday - Thursday from 5am - 3pm with overtime as required to meet project schedules.
