Located just North of Austin, TX. Georgetown Woodworks is a full-service Commercial Cabinet, Casework, and Millwork company that has been proudly serving the Central Texas market for over 20 years! Our facility is located on the banks of the San Gabriel River near downtown Georgetown, voted many times as one of the top 50 places to live inthe United States.
We are currently looking for a plant employee to join our team. This position will be part of a team that is responsible for manufacturing our products for commercial projects. We desire a candidate who is comfortable with woodworking hand & power tools, can professionally assemble cabinets, apply laminates, and work with both solid surface and plastic laminate type counters. Power tools, safety equipment, and company shirts will be provided.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Able to resolve issues
- Good communication skills
-Able to adjust doors/drawers
-Able to cut, seam, and finish solid surface (Corian/Wilsonart type) counters
-Arrive at the plant on time and have the ability to meet deadlines
-High attention to detail
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-Other duties and activities as required by management
No supervisory duties. Standard work is Monday-Friday. Occasional overtime and weekend work may apply. 40 per week minimum.
