1962 Ludwig 490 Pioneer snare drum + case,stand,+ - $400 (Austin)

This is a time warp closet queen for sure. The drum is ALL ORIGINAL. ALL. The Keystone badge has no serial number tells me it was made between 1960 and 1963. Inside the drum you can see the actual date it was made, but with my old eyes all I can make out is 1962, not the month and date. The throw, the red batter, the 12 strand snares, every lug, washer and screw. No cracks and the Marine White Pearl wrap is flawless with no fade. Even the heads are original. No rust or pitting. The worst I can say about it is that it a little dirty and wants you to clean and polish it.
But wait! There’s more. It’s in the original Ludwig suit case. It has the original WFL stand and practice pad. Several old band books in the case too.
