Up for sale is my 1999 Rickenbacker 450v63 in the stunning Burgundy finish. Only 80 were produced worldwide, with just 51 distributed in the U.S., making this an exceptionally rare opportunity for collectors and players alike.
I was first inspired to track one down after seeing Michael from The Lemon Twigs play a 450—these guitars truly embody the spirit of Rock ‘n’ Roll. The scatter-wound toasters sound phenomenal, and I'm amazed at how well they break up! Because the toasters are recessed, the strings seem closer to the body, and it feels effortless to play (almost, dare I say... like a Strat)! This guitar is in excellent condition: structurally solid with no cracks, breaks, or repairs, and remarkably clean throughout. It even has the sticker!
These rarely come to market, and the only comparable example currently available is priced over $300 higher at Olivia’s.
If you’re looking for a rare, vintage-style Rickenbacker with undeniable stage presence and collectability, this is it. I’m happy to provide additional photos, videos, or details upon request.
