Condition: Good, clean, no rosin excess under the bridge, seams all intact, minor scuffs on body, and marks of use on tuners, no surprises. Please see photos!
It has four steel strings included on the instrument. Full-size case included, as well as the original bow.
Violin rosin can easily be bought for $6 online.
Purchased the bow, violin, and case from SHAR Music as a set for $250 back in 2003. Nowadays that won't get you nearly the same, plus that was for a brand-new violin which has zero seasoning or playtime. Now it has settled, been played & performed on, and still is in good shape - the exact happy middle-ground you want to find.
