This is a fantastic unit with no issues and comes with foot controller. The foot controller is powered by the rack unit with an XLR cable from the unit to the controller. No extra power supply is needed. The data from the controller is also supplied by the XLR cable. This was my backup unit but I do not need a backup any longer. It never left my studio, because I never needed the back up.
