Here is a one-of-a-kind Buck tribute partscaster I sourced and assembled. Had a lot of fun with this one. Just under 8 lbs.
Custom painted body. All colors are metal flake and it sparkles in the lights big time...(I believe the wood is Alder, but not 100%)
Bridge PU: Fender '64
Neck PU: Fender '62
Fender Ashtray Bridge Assembly. Threaded saddles.
Neck and Tuners from a Squier '51 (Import) These necks are sleepers. They have a just a bit more heft than a typical C. Custom headstock paintjob.
Sparkle Pickguard and control plate.
Forney Jack Cup. Red.
Wiring Harness:
Fender 3 Way Switch
CTS Potentiometers 250K -(2) 450G Series 10% Tolerance, 1/4" Solid Shaft, 1/4" threaded bushing, vintage dish back with nut and dress washers
Sozo Amplification Tone Capacitor - .033uF @ 500V
Treble Bleed (included and installed)
Switchcraft Output Jack - #11, 1/4" Mono
Cloth covered wiring.
The clear coat is not full gloss and it's bit thinner. Still looks shiny but a bit more "vintage" imo.
The back of the body has sort of firework carving that can be seen in the right light/angle. About 3" or so across.
It's a real looker overall and plays easy. I've got some 9's on it so you can play your Don Rich licks just like he did. Frets have a little wear in spots. No dead frets. Truss turns.
