The Category 5 Tsunami is an 18-watt tube (EL84) amplifier known for its versatility and cranked-amp tone at manageable volumes, suitable for smaller venues and studios. It features two distinct preamp designs across two channels, a global reverb, variac voltage control, and a variable recording line out. The "Voltage" control acts like a built-in Variac, allowing you to adjust the voltage applied to the tubes, from 2 watts for bedroom practice up to its maximum of 18 watts RMS.
