This is a Dobro Hound Dog Deluxe Square Neck resonator that has been converted to a 7 string, for use with G6 or A6 tuning . The conversion included a new nut, a new saddle, as well as the addition of a Gold Tone planetary tuner in the headstock and modified tailpiece. Cone, spider bridge other hardware are original to the guitar. There is a jack for a pickup, but no pickup is installed.

The string spacing is tighter than a standard dobro, but is nearly identical to a Fender Stringmaster, would be a very comfortable for a lap steel player. Currently strung up for G6 - GBDEGBD, could be set up for C6, A6, E13 or any other lap steel tuning.

This instrument is in good shape, and comes with a basic gig bag.
