A collaboration between Dreadbox and software developer Sinevibes, the Dreadbox Typhon transports the ultra-fat Dreadbox analog sound into a portable desktop unit. Belying its small size and welcoming price point, the Typhon is packed to the gills with stunning sound design features. This formidable monophonic synth comprises two all-analog VCOs, a four-pole resonant lowpass filter, two envelope generators, and analog VCAs — all the components you would expect from an old-school inspired subtractive synth. Sinevibes powers up the Typhon with its cutting-edge DSP technology and sound design prowess, equipping it with an expansive FX section that includes six separate distortions, a bitcrusher, two delays, reverb, and three modulation effects.
