I used this for live streaming during the pandemic for a mix summation. It was the last thing in the chain before the recording interface and evened out and fattened the mix. Worked brilliantly for this. Also great for recording videos if you can get a good sound going in and don't want to deal with mixing in the post. Used a lot for warming up vocals with a little tube drive as well. I have two and this is the best one.
These models are notorious for scratchy buttons and this particular one is no exception though I've always been able to get the sound to pass fine with a little pushing/pulling/jostling around of the buttons and knobs in needed. Brought to Strait Music and they cleaned all they could and replaced a few components too. They said it would cost way too much to replace all the scratchy push/pull pots so I decided to deal. Again, it will always work you just *might* need to mess with it here and there to get a clean signal.
