Awesome large diaphragm condenser microphone that punches waaaayyy above its weight class. I’ve used this for direct vocals, second “air” vocal mic, guitar cab mic, bass cab mic, drum room mic, acoustic mic and it did it all pretty well. It shines as an “air catcher” for vocals in my opinion. I would run my SM7B as the “main” vocal mic in a standard placement, then shift this mic 3 inches off to the right or left of the Shure and about 2 inches above it. It captures all that high end and allowed me to process the dynamic SM7b for the main work load of the vocal takes while using this to balance in and capture the crisp high ends of loud vocals.

I’m including the proline stand which I always used as a desk stand, but it is a kick mic stand technically. The microphone has lived in my studio mic locker in a custom fit foam insert since I bought it new. Seeing as how I’m selling the mic I will gladly include this little foam protector as well. Only dame to the mic is slight bends to the top grill wig oh do not affect it one bit whatsoever
