Eastman E8D-TC Swiss Alpine Spruce top, Solid Rosewood back and sides. These were build with tops of thermocured Swiss Alpine Moon Spruce for E8D-TC's and E6D-TC's for a short period late 2020 early 2021 and are sought after by Eastman fans. The E8D would be the comparable model to a HD-28 although a HD28 with Alpine Spruce and torrefication of top would be an upgrade costing more and sold as an HD28 Custom. Tonally Swiss Alpine Spruce is in between Sitka Spruce and Adirondack Spruce. I preferred this over a couple of E20D-TC 's previously owned. No fret wear, nice dark ebony wood fretboard 1-3/4" at the nut. Low string action allows easy play. Excellent condition both guitar and case.
