Recording King RD-328 Adirondack Rosewood Dreadnought.
Recording King RD-328 Solid premium Adirondack Spruce top, this first year or two the Adirondack Spruce was stated to be 30 years aged (these are the giant logs they had somewhere up in the northeast USA, there were photos of the logs raised off the ground some with tarps over the top, they cut tops or sell lumber to guitar companies, tonewood suppliers or luthiers. Back and sides of AAA grade solid East Indian Rosewood. This is a great guitar, was received by a dealer who RK wanted to bring into their dealership line-up. I got this in 2019 from that shop, probably one of the first of this model sold. Excellent bass to treble and deep tone, the tone reminds me of a D-35. Low action with nice high saddle. No fretwear. Mint condition with a hardcase that is also like new or close to new. Come and get it before I start playing it again then won't want to sell it.
Recording King/Music Link description
Part of our Tonewood Reserve Series, the Recording King RD-328 evokes classic dreadnought style, sound and volume thanks to hand-selected tonewoods and vintage styling. The foundation of the 328’s tone comes from select solid Adirondack spruce tops. Adirondack delivers a stiff, loud, lightweight top with powerful fundamental tone and excellent projection. Combine the hand-picked Adirondack tops with select solid Rosewood back and sides, and you have the all-solid basics for guitars that have powered genres like bluegrass and country for decades. We finish the 328 with classy, low-key fretboard dots on the rosewood fretboard, and a vintage-style tortoise pickguard to protect the top. The 328’s classic rosette design and herringbone body purfling complete the traditional look. For players that need the power and volume that only a dreadnought can provide and still want the warmth and vibrance that comes with premium tonewoods, the RD-328 offers the best of both worlds at a fraction of the price of a vintage instrument.
