Tonex features IK Multimedia's proprietary amp/effects/cab profiling technology, basically competing with Kemper, Quad Cortex (and now Headrush Prime), its rated higher than all 3 of those in quality of profiles. The only thing it lacks is the bunch of effects that some amp/cab modelers offer,
TONEX effects include Chorus, Tremolo, Phaser, Flanger, Rotary, Digital Delay, Tape Delay, Spring Reverb (versions 1-4), Room Reverb, Plate Reverb, Compressor, and Noise Gate
Which are enough for most, but my music/band situation requires some synth/reverse reverb/delay etc to fill a 3 piece band. so I have to upgrade and need money for next purchase
p.s. You may think unit is scratched or dirty, nope...after taking pictures I had to check Tonex for any scratches/dust since there should be none... and there are none, this is just paint texture/pattern on Tonex, the screen still has protective plastic on it
