Zoom B6 Effects Processor is a great live and studio tool. It has up to 9 stomp switches and a huge storage area for user created patches. One of the most sonically useful is the DI modeling function with two tube and two solid state options. The DI options alone make this a great pre-amp option for sculpting your sound. You can set up banks of patches for different basses our band situations easily. The unit also is set up to handle two different basses that can have wildly different tonal needs with a simple A/B switch. The 4.3 in color touch screen is super simple to use and has all of the units functions easily available. For recording, the unit has a built in USB audio interface. The other great feature is the rhythm pattern and looper function. This allows you to practice with a ton of different drum patterns and record them with the looper as well. If you are looking to start exploring bass effects, this is a great option. Zooms extensive catalog of effects will give you massive tonal options to work with.
