Female singer with stage experience needed to front a band committed to original music.
We need someone who sings well and will contribute to new material.
We do our own combination of acoustic folk and electric rock. 80% of our set comes from
within the band. The few covers we do are "deep tracks" from well known songwriters. We
don't do "hits".
We are gigging, but want to upgrade our sound and our presence, which is where you come in.
We don't want Janis, Chrissy, Ann Wilson, Lucinda or anyone else. We want committed, original
talent that can work well in a creative setting and give a great show. We are older players
ready to provide a supportive environment and give you the musical setting you need.
This is hard work. We will create the music we need and you will help in that process.
It means weekly Sunday afternoon rehearsals. It means writing on your own time.
It comes with no guarantees beyond the fact that you are working with experienced professionals
and you will learn and transform as a musician.
If you want a cover band, that isn't what we do. Be committed and loyal or look elsewhere.
