Experienced drummer and guitarist looking for others to play blues based rock/rock/hard rock style tunes. I have some healthy southern rock influences ( think 70s/90s vibes). We've been playing for several months, and are focused on dialing in the groove, feel and tempo (click-friendly practice) so the songs sound their best.
We just added a good vocalist, so really looking for a bassist and maybe a rythym guitar to complete a solid unit. It seems the two choices for musicians who aren't looking to tour or function at a pro level are random jams or performing playlist bar songs. Having a third option seems as difficult as making another political party, but here goes. So, not exactly burning to play out or be another mediocre bar band, but not opposed to playing out at the right places. Looking for someone who'd like to play music with others, maybe you're tired of gigging scence or all the riches to be made maybe you just would like a side thing that's fun, with an opportunity to play with good players and actually play what you want whether it's a cover or creating something of your own. We found three, so theres got to be a few more.
We're currently playing some off the beaten path covers to gel musically and help establish our own sound and direction. Ideally, you can accommodate playing weekly and are passionate about the music.
