About the band:
Noise on the Rocks is a band looking to bring new life into an existing project. Recent changes in life have created openings for an additional guitar and bass players while adding room for keys and vocals. Traditionally, the band has played rock covers. As we rebuild the band, we may decide to continue to play covers, focus on originals, somewhere in between, or paths yet unknown.
We have a desire to play live at bars, parties, and other events a couple of times a month. Depending on what we choose for a band direction, recording and studio work may also be desired.
This is a band for people that have 9-5 jobs, kids, and families. We do this because it is our passion and for the thrill of playing for an audience, not to make a living from it - but that would be nice. Even though we don't do this full-time, we are dedicated to delivering an amazing performance and contributing to the band's direction, marketing, and operations and are looking for others with the same goals.
Times have changed and a successful band requires an online following in order to book gigs. We would like to create a fun environment to explore various creative paths for our music and band promotion through recording, production, video, online marketing, and social profiles.
To craft our sound, we have been using digital amp and effects modelers (Line 6 Helix, etc.) and an electronic drum kit. All instruments run direct into a digital mixer for personalized mixes and amplification. For the covers we play, this allows us to craft our sound to match or be near to the original tone. Using automation, we are able to select effect patches for each song individually. Don't worry if this sounds complicated, we can get you up and running quickly.
