Looking for a synth player interested in playing unconventional indie rock / pop.
We have several albums of recorded music. The goal of this project is to arrange these for a live setting. With regards to that, the ability to learn the parts from our sheet music (or ear) would be really nice.
Generally speaking, the synth parts tend to be quite sparse, often monophonic. Sometimes they'll be in the higher register, airy, e.g. the kinds of string synth parts in 80's alt rock (The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division, New Order). Other times, they might double or complement the lead melody (e.g. DEVO, Sparks).

Ideal person is down-to-earth and focused. Should be interested in making new friends :) Current members are aged 24-30, but everyone is welcome. To ensure we are a good fit, I will likely ask to meet up (e.g. for coffee) before practicing together. Thanks!
