Well established north Austin moving & storage company seeking an individual possessing a variety of skills including the ability to multitask while paying attention to detail. This is a small office where we all assist one another in keeping our operation running smoothly. At times the environment may be fast paced and demanding, so the applicant must have the ability to maintain a calm, professional and positive attitude. A good sense of humor along with strong work ethic and eagerness to perform daily duties is must.
Possessing strong verbal communication skills and a clear and friendly speaking voice is imperative. A large portion of the time you will be on the phone quoting and scheduling jobs plus assisting our people in the field. Some background sales experience would be helpful. You must have excellent writing abilities in order to professionally correspond by email or letter to our customers. A written test will be required prior to being hired.
One must have the ability to handle new projects from the start to finish with little or no assistance. Be competent in assessing and resolving problems as they arise.
Other duties will include assisting with payroll and billing, posting jobs, handling claims plus opening and closing of the business.
Your typical work week will be Monday thru Friday, but you will be required to work some Saturdays in exchange for a weekday off.
Our salaries are very competitive, plus we pay commissions on jobs completed.
