Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our Austin team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and motivated to find efficient, thoughtful ways to get things done.
This is a flexible in-office, part-time position (25–30 hours per week), with the opportunity for additional hours during peak season (April–June). Additional opportunities for advancement are available.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with weekly mailings, including organizing and preparing documents, metering envelopes, creating labels, and coordinating USPS drop-offs.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail: open, sort, scan, name, and file documents both physically and digitally.
• Perform accurate data entry to track deadlines, values, appeals, and mailings.
• Support tax-related administrative tasks, including reviewing and processing notices of value, tax statements, and other county or state documents.
• Assist with filing appeals and maintaining related documentation.
• Communicate with taxing authorities via phone and email to obtain documents and information.
• Provide general administrative and project-based support to team members across departments.
• Run occasional office errands (office supplies, bank deposits, USPS).

Qualifications
• 1–2+ years of administrative, office support, or related experience.
• Familiarity with document management systems and cloud-based tools preferred.
• Prior experience in accounting, tax, finance, or professional services environments is helpful but not required.
• No specific degree is required; relevant education or equivalent work experience is acceptable.
