We are seeking a very strong, highly motivated Leasing Agent / Administrative Assistant to join a busy 242-unit apartment community in Austin, Texas. This property needs someone who is proactive, organized, professional, and not afraid to take initiative.
The ideal candidate will have prior apartment leasing experience, excellent follow-up skills, strong customer service, and the ability to support daily office operations. We are looking for someone who can lease apartments, communicate confidently with prospects and residents, assist with administrative tasks, and help keep the office running smoothly.
This is a fast-paced property that requires a dependable team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to stay focused while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Greeting prospects, residents, vendors, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answering phones, responding to emails, and assisting with daily office communication.
Leasing apartments, conducting tours, following up with prospects, and helping convert leads into move-ins.
Assisting with applications, lease paperwork, renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and resident files.
Maintaining strong follow-up with prospects, applicants, and residents.
Helping support resident communication and addressing resident questions or concerns.
Assisting with rent collection follow-up, notices, resident account questions, and administrative tracking.
Entering work orders and following up to ensure resident needs are communicated properly.
Helping maintain organized office files, leasing documents, reports, and property records.
Supporting the Community Manager and Assistant Manager with daily administrative tasks.
Walking models, vacant units, and the property as needed to ensure the property is tour-ready.
Helping create a positive, professional, and organized leasing office environment.
Ideal candidate will have:
Prior apartment leasing experience preferred.
Strong sales, leasing, and customer service skills.
Excellent phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
Strong follow-up and attention to detail.
Ability to stay organized in a busy property office.
A proactive personality and willingness to jump in where needed.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work with residents, prospects, vendors, and team members.
Experience with multifamily property management software preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
