Hey y’all, I’ve been fostering this sweet boy for a couple of days and am trying to reconnect him with his rightful owners. Unfortunately, I can’t keep him long-term since I have a reactive dog at home, so I need to find his family soon. (If I can’t locate his owners within the neighborhood, I’ll need to either find a foster for him or adopt him out.)
I’ve already posted on Nextdoor and the Austin Lost and Found Pets page, and I can post to the Del Valle group as well. If anyone has recommendations for other groups or places to share, please let me know 🙏
He has no microchip and wasn’t wearing a collar when I found him.
He clearly seems to have been someone’s pet:
• Very clean when I found him (no fleas or ticks)
• Healthy and not underweight
• Potty trained
• Sits politely and has good manners
It’s obvious he’s been loved and cared for, so I know someone out there must be missing him. Please share this post to help get him back home. (I’m also definitely aware that someone might have dumped him 😭) Just hoping for the best.
For his safety, I will be verifying proof of ownership before releasing him to anyone.
