ISO friendly Shih Tzu to train as a therapy dog to visit nursing homes (Central Texas)

Looking for Shih Tzu that is at least one year old to train as a therapy dog to visit nursing homes. Must be very friendly to strangers and other dogs, house trained, calm and not a big barker. I grew up with a shih tzu that I loved very much and now that my kids are grown and living on their own, I would really like to adopt another one. I worked at a retirement home and saw how much it meant to the residents when they were able to pet a visiting dog and it would be very rewarding to be able to bring that comfort to people who can no longer have a pet of their own.
