We've befriended a 2 year old stray cat ("Noah) that has taken to sleeping in our backyard after being abandoned by it's nearby owner, but he is in need of a forever home where he can receive consistent love, attention, and shelter.
Noah is super sweet and greets me every time I go outside, often purring, conversating or attempting to snuggle up. My kids and I love him, but my indoor cats do not share the sentiment, and unfortunately there's an unspoken turf war that is disturbing the peace and making my cat's obsessively guard the windows at all hours of the day and it's stressing them out! He is not neutered and does have mites or something going on with his nose and behind the ears, but a simple vet appointment will do him good <3 & from what I can tell, he seems to be flee free!
I get the impression that, while he'd love to come inside periodically, he really loves being outdoors, and also would probably prefer being the only cat in the home. We do have a small dog and they've become friends, so I think as long as any dogs in the home are cat-friendly he'll adjust just fine.
