My friend's daughter found a very pregnant dog on the side of the road about a month ago. No microchip and posted in the neighborhood group seeing if she belonged to anyone. We have been fostering her and her now 4 week old puppies. She looks to be pretty young and is not wanting to nurse anymore. I am not sure what to do and am thinking it would be better for them and mama dog to go to a rescue who can help with feeding and finding them homes. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Koda (what we have been calling mama dog) is a GREAT dog. Very smart, housebroken, good with cats and dogs, great with young kids.
