Steel Model A exhaust muffler, correct for 1928, 1929, 1930, and 1931 Ford Model A.
It’s solid, straight, and ready to bolt up. The upper third has some kind of mysterious factory-ish coating—looks like the ghost of spot welds past.
Not rust. Not rust-through. Just one of those “that’s how it came, I guess” Model A curiosities. Consider it vintage charm.
Lightly used, still in great shape, and absolutely qualifies as “better than running open exhaust and waking your neighbors.”
If your current muffler sounds like a tuba full of marbles, this will be an upgrade.
If you don’t have a muffler at all, well… this is a muffler. Your engine will finally stop screaming its every emotion into the void.
No dents, no cracks, no drama.
May your backfires be infrequent… and ideally pointed at someone else’s garage.
