Here’s a neat old-school accessory for a Ford Model A (also the kind of thing you see on other late-1920s/early-1930s cars). It’s an expandable running board luggage rack, aka the scissor gate / accordion running board fence, made to clamp onto the running board and corral your “touring supplies”, gas/oil/water jugs, toolbox, luggage, or whatever you’d rather not watch tumble into history.

It’s definitely old, definitely metal, and definitely cooler than anything I own that was made this decade.
