-Failure of the ABS module can cause the ABS and Brake warning lights to turn on and off, stay illuminated and/or store various ABS system trouble codes including B1342, C1300, B1596. The antilock brake system will not function until the unit is repaired.
-Another common failure of the ABS module is the hydraulic pump running, Intermittent ABS Light and no Communications.
If you are getting trouble codes C1440 and/or C1288 or anything else regarding the Brake Pressure Transducer, this service will not help since these codes and Brake Pressure Transducer concerns are not caused by the ABS module itself, but are caused by a faulty hydraulic pump or vehicle wiring.
