There are two variants of the 1995 to 2005 2.0L engine: SOHC (Single Overhead Cam). DOHC (Double Overhead Cam). Both the 2.0L SOHC and DOHC engines utilize the same water pump, compatible with various models from 1995 to 2005. Both engine types share the same water pump ensuring interchangeable between the two. As a side note although the water pump are the same, timing belt and other parts such as valve cover gasket, seals etc are likely different between the two engines.
