The room also includes a wall-mounted 32" HDMI flat panel Roku TV, one nightstand, lamp, desk, tall bookcase, and a generous double closet.
A $250 deposit is required, which is fully refundable as long as a 2-week notice to vacate is given, and the room is left clean, damage-free, and move-in ready. Rent also includes all common areas of the house and outdoors, premium internet service, several premium video streaming services, and all utilities.
The house is a one-story 3/2 with updated wood-look ceramic tile flooring throughout. If you have some personal items to store, there is plenty of room in a large, nearly empty, weather-proof, outdoor storage shed in the backyard.
A large, breezy sunroom overlooks a huge backyard. It’s a wonderful place to relax year-round. Smoking is only permitted on the covered side porch or in the sunroom. “420 friendly,” but any other recreational drugs are not permitted--this is a drama-free zone. :)
The fully-equipped kitchen has an ample food pantry, side-by-side stainless refrigerator, gas range, as well as a 2nd full-size refrigerator and a large deep freezer located in the garage. The washer and dryer are also located off the kitchen in the garage. Sliding glass doors open from the kitchen to a second, outdoor covered porch that's convenient for grilling food. It also has a table and chairs that are not pictured.
Bonus—SWIMMING POOL PRIVILEGES! I happen to live next door to my best friend, who has a wonderful swimming pool that she loves to share. She also lives with 2 great housemates. There is a gate in the privacy fence between our properties for easy access. I have included a picture of her adjacent backyard pool. Inviting a few friends over to swim is absolutely okay—especially if they bring beer. :) We are both easy-going, friendly, and love people. You don’t need to ask permission for a solo swim; just go on over!
I have two small, friendly dogs, Annie and Gilly, so I’m not looking for a housemate with pets. They are both convinced that they are ‘Queens of the Forest.’ They are not at all incessant barkers, but it’s convenient when they let me know the pizza delivery person is at the door.
