Within a short walk you have access tons of restaurants, coffee shops and bars: Bar Peached, Little Woodrow’s, Monkey Nest Coffee, Fonda San Miguel, Eastside Pies, Little Longhorn Saloon, Shoal Creek Nursery to name a few. Excellent area to walk/run/bike in. Located on Shoal Creek Trail, which follows the creek for 4 miles, from Lady Bird Lake to 38th Street and features well maintained sidewalks and bollard protected two-way bike lanes. 20 minute walk to Grove Signature Park, 25 minute bike ride downtown, and 20 minute bike ride to Pease Park.
🌿 Lifestyle: I'm 40F and work from home as a music teacher (using headphones, I'm quiet!) and love hiking, camping, and my two adorable cats. My housemate is a real estate agent with a cute little dog, and enjoys roller skate nights. We enjoy chatting in common areas but mostly keep to ourselves. We keep the central AC at around 78 during the day, 75 at night, so ideally looking for someone who likes a similar climate, though there's a window AC unit in the bedroom if you want it cooler. We try to be mindful of energy use and avoid using artificial fragrances to prevent headaches. Looking for a responsible, proactively clean housemate with good communication that is on a typical sleep schedule. Occasional overnight guests that you know are welcome with a heads up. This is a quiet, relaxing house, not a party house. No smoking. LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly!
💵 Nitty gritty: Refundable security deposit of $985. No fee to apply. Must have decent credit, a stable job, and no criminal record to be approved. We are renters, so we have no control over the rental criteria or the lease term.
