We have two rooms available in our spacious 7 bedroom, 4 bath house located in the heart of east Austin, close to Manor but without the traffic noise opening up now
Location:
You can get downtown in well under 10 minutes, even faster to UT. Super close to Manor bars, restaurants, basketball courts and even closer to patrizzis/butterfly bar . For transportation, there's a bus stop about a minute walk away. Also heaps of street parking nearby and a few offstreet spots aswell if you're in a bind.
The House:
The common areas are already well furnished(big dining table big tv with all the fixins), and there's even a shed in the back that can be used as a convenient work-from-home space(or at least has been used in the past). Washer dryer, nest thermostat, phone controlled colored lights, and all the kitchen equipment under the sun.
The Housemates:
Most important part! It's a big house and everyone who moves in knows it, so it self selects towards community oriented people and a friendly atmosphere. Generally folks are in their 20's with a pretty even gender mix and are either young professionals or graduate/postgrad students. Everyone gets along well and are looking for someone who shares that house-proud community oriented mindset.
If you're interested, we'd love to hear a little about you! Lots of people in the house so move outs and shuffle arounds are pretty common - if your move in date doesnt perfectly align feel free to reach out anyways in case theres a spot available in the future.
