Two friends (Skye 27 - Artist/Service Industry | Eric 48 - Musician/Handy Man) are looking for a female roommate to join our cool apartment starting May 1st.
• Newly updated two story townhouse style Duplex (other half of building is the landlord)
• Location: Oltorf and I-35, a few minutes from downtown, easy access to I-35, 71 (-10mins to airport)
• Parking, though technically not off-street, is very close to front entrance and there's always plenty
• Located on a cul-dec-sac with just a few other houses / very quiet here
• Kitchen is newly remodeled; entire unit is freshly painted.
• All appliances, including washer and dryer, are all recently updated
• Looking to fill one private bedroom (2nd fl) next to full-bath shared with Skye
• No pets allowed, No exceptions; sorry
• House is mostly furnished excluding the bedroom for rent
• Lighted and fenced in backyard (we just got a fire pit)
• Ring cameras front door and back yard (you can also have access to the feed).
• The room for rent is 14x10 including closet
• Rent: $700 / month (+ utilities) + $500 deposit. 6 month minimum lease
• We are mindful of energy usage but keep house cool enough to sleep at night
• Utilities have consistently totaled under $300 a month which we split three ways. (Internet: 40 | gas/water +/-$200 )
About us
We’re both respectful, easy going and clean. But we do like a calm, uncluttered friendly home environment and are considerate of shared spaces.
Ideally we would like to find someone who has things going on and won't be home 24/7 or constantly sacked out in the common areas. We both crash anywhere from 9:30-11:30 pm and often wake early, so if you’re prone to getting loud at night or work over night, this might not be the spot for you.
Please: this for a female only / we just want someone down to earth, honest and trust-worthy / no shut-ins or people who only work solely home / No felons, or crazy criminal records or serious mental illness and substance abuse issiues / not prone to constant company / and no extreme righties or lefties please; we prefer to keep the madness outside.
