Hello! I own/live in a 3 bedroom home, but only use 2 of the bedrooms. I'm looking for a part time housemate to move in in the new year if there's a good fit out there. *Move in date is flexible, as is lease term. Part time = 3-4 days a week. Rent is $850 a month, including utilities (and wifi).

I'm 50, and WFH 80% of the time. I have a professional background in construction and architecture. I have a long list of realized and unrealized extracurricular creative projects. I have a 1 year old pup named Blue. I love kayaking, exploring the wild spaces around Austin, and occassionally having friends over to hang out.

House is compact at 1000 s.f. I have my own bathroom and the aailable room has a full bath directly accross the hall. Room is 12'x9' with a 3' wide closet. It has two windows facing North and East. Neighborhood is quiet most of the time. Planes occassional fly over, as this part of east austin is sometimes on the flight path.

Room can come furnished or unfurnished.
