Looking for a female housemate to lease the larger back room w/ a private bath in this adorable 3/2 house. The room is currently available and the current lease term runs through 7/31/26. You must be able to pass a background check.
The Room:
Larger back room: Unfurnished, ample closet space, has private bathroom, and a private back door that opens to the backyard. Excellent natural light. Rent is $900 plus utilities.
The House:
-Utilities (electric, gas, internet) average to about $100/month when divided between the tenants
-No pets, sorry :( Two sweet cats live here already
-Common areas are already furnished
-Open kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher
-Huge backyard with a deck and fire pit
-Garage for storage
-Situated perfectly in central east Austin, easily accessible from I35 and Airport Blvd, walking distances from the football and baseball stadiums, and very close to downtown/Red River District/E 6th.
The Current Housemates:
I’m in my late 30s and am a therapist working at a private practice in Round Rock, mostly working outside of the house (occasionally WFH) and have a pretty standard work schedule. I’m a laid back and considerate housemate, and communicate openly regarding household chores and other needs with the house. I love going out to shows, hitting up restaurants nearby, and just taking it easy at the house.
We're in our late and mid-30s and have pretty standard work schedules, one of us is a therapist and the other works in the literary world for UT. We primarily work outside the home but occasionally have WFH days. We're both laid back and considerate housemates, and communicate openly regarding household chores and other needs with the house.
The preference is to find a housemate roughly in our age range, has a similar schedule, and is respectful towards the house and is easy to get along with.
