Seeking Roommate to live with Senior In South Austin
Offering a private bedroom with your own bathroom, and dedicated parking, in a quiet home. Free Rent, all utilities are included.
We are looking for a reliable and dependable individual to assist my father, who lives alone in his home in South Austin (Slaughter). He uses a cane / walker for mobility, and is mostly capable of doing activities of daily living on his own. However, he currently needs daily supervision and some support, primarily in the mornings and evenings. We're interested in someone who is open to a live-in arrangement.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has a personal vehicle and is occasionally available to provide transportation
- Responsible, mature, organized, and clean
- Able to assist with oral medication administration and light household tasks (cooking, cleaning, laundry)
- Employed part-time, unless employed hybrid or remote
- Genuinely interested in providing care and support, not simply seeking free housing.
Please note:
We are seeking someone stable and grounded, who is genuinely interested in a caregiving role. This is not a transitional housing opportunity. If you are currently going through a breakup, divorce, or are in need of housing due to personal hardship, this is not the right fit.
