The room for rent is on the second floor, I live on the bottom floor and the shared kitchen, utility room, entry to house and living area are on the main floor between. No one else lives in the house, so upstairs is very private. The room has a solid wood door and a commercial type door lock for additional security. Wifi and utilities are included in rent. Parking is in the driveway.
I don't require a deposit, but do require a lease to be signed. Lease can be for as little as 3 months, or longer if you prefer. I do a background check, which is a nominal amount to be paid by the tenant.
I've lived here over 12 years and have rented the room off and on since I moved here, this is real, not a CL scam, you please be real too.
