I installed Ring security at my house. I put in a base station, three hard-wired outdoor floodlight/cameras, and sensors on all exterior doors and windows. I had two security companies bid the job. I purchased my own Ring equipment for about 10% of what they wanted for their equipment (and you have to rent from them). The security companies wanted top dollar for monitoring. Ring only charges $17/month for monitoring which includes full, lifetime equipment replacement. The only downside is I had to order and install everything myself. It wasn’t exactly easy, but having done it, I could do another install much quicker. I really like working with Ring.
Would anyone be interested in paying me to set up your house with Ring?
