I am a 53yo single father of a 9yo autistic boy who stays with me every other week as part of a 50/50 custody arrangement. I am also launching a career in acting and modeling. Seeking a single parent with a child full time or similar custody arrangement. Would be preferable if the parent worked from home. Because of modeling and acting, there is often an overlap with times and it causes me to turn down golden opportunities which pay great. If I only shared a space with someone who knew my son and knew them too and could care for him while I'm on set, I would compensate them financially for their effort and return the favor if they needed free time for themselves. Having someone to rely on is difficult on a part time basis and trust with my child is an even bigger issue and that brings me here wondering if anybody reads these and potentially fits this description. I'm not looking for immediately right now as these things take time and planning so I'm leaving some buffer room. I've already turned down great opportunities watching the would be money fly on by because I have my son and he means the world to me. I won't trust him with just anybody and I do read the news and get amber alerts on my phone son's not being overly cautious, just a single parent living in an evil world.

Living arrangements can't be in North Austin as his school is in South Austin, traffic here sucks bad enough without having to cross a bridge and North Austin just doesn't appeal to me at all. Frankly, it's a great place to shop but I wouldn't want to live there. Alternately, nearby areas like Manchaka. Lakeway, Bee Cave, Dripping Springs, Cedar Creek, McKinney Falls, or anywhere that's not inner city where the traffic will make me want to tear my teeth out and where I need to carry an iron everywhere I go.
