Business Development Representative (BDR) – IT Services
Part-Time | 15 Hours per Week | Remote (U.S.)
We are a growth partner to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs). We help IT service firms generate qualified opportunities in IT support, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and storage solutions.
Our role is to identify organizations that need better technology support and connect them with trusted IT partners.
The Role
We are hiring a part-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to support outbound prospecting and meeting generation.
This role is ideal for someone who:
Has sales or prospecting experience
Is confident starting conversations
Wants to build a career in tech sales
May not have worked in IT before but is eager to learn
You will focus primarily on identifying companies that need IT support, cybersecurity, or infrastructure improvements and scheduling qualified meetings for MSP and VAR partners.
You may also support outreach into the IT channel when partnership development opportunities arise.
What You’ll Do
Research and identify target accounts in defined verticals
Execute outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn
Engage Operations, IT, and Finance leaders in professional conversations
Qualify prospects based on current IT environment and business needs
Schedule meetings for senior sales leaders
Track activity and pipeline notes in CRM
Participate in weekly coaching and performance reviews
What Success Looks Like
Consistent weekly outreach activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
Achievement of monthly qualified meeting targets
Clear documentation of prospect conversations
Professional representation of the company and partners
Continuous improvement in call quality and conversion rates
Who This Role Is For

Have 6–24 months of sales, retail, or prospecting experience
Are comfortable speaking with business decision-makers

Experience selling into the IT channel is not required. We will train you on:
