Position Summary
The Sales Representative is the first and most important point of contact for walk-in customers, contractors, and vendors, playing a vital role in creating positive and professional customer experience. This position is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, developing lasting customer relationships, supporting sales growth, accurately processing sales transactions, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, hardworking, detail-oriented, polished, customer-focused, and committed to providing exceptional service. Success in this role requires a proactive team player who communicates effectively, enjoys helping people, and contributes positively to a respectful, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and assist walk-in customers, contractors, and trade professionals in a courteous and professional manner.
• Build lasting customer relationships while providing exceptional sales and customer service.
• Represent the company in a professional, courteous, and positive manner during every customer interaction.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations related to doors, hardware, frames, and associated building materials.
• Accurately process sales orders, quotes, invoices, and returns through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Enter detailed orders into the Comsense Software, which is all in English.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and lead times.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery or customer pickup.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional counter and showroom area.
• Support inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
• Uphold company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards always.
• Foster a respectful, cooperative, and professional workplace culture.
• Assist with special projects and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be bilingual.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
• Must be able to read English.
• Must be able to enter detailed orders into the Comsense Software, which is all in English.
• Must be able to speak fluent Spanish.
• Must be good with people.

• Previous Sales / Counter Sales, inside sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in the door supply, building materials, construction, or hardware industries strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, sales, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency required. Experience with POS systems preferred.
• Professional demeanor and neat, well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to lift to 25–50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be a dependable team player who contributes positively to a respectful, drama-free work environment.
