I found it as, except it had tape around the middle. I'm sure the pegs originally had something on the other side to hold them in place. If you don't replace these pegs with proper fitting nut and bolts, you'll have to tape them down. But nuts and bolts would be better. In spite of it being hollow and a two-piecer it's solid. Perfect for curls, ..i wouldn't go heavy-heavy with it.
