I took a new job and I want to move across town, ideally around the first of the year. My apartments are willing to let me out of my lease if I can get someone to take it over. It's an A1 unit at Bradford Pointe (https://www.missionrockresidential.com/apartments/tx/austin/bradford-pointe/floor-plans-availability) for $891 a month. As you can see, that's a little less than they're charging now for new leases.

Here's how it works:

1) There is a $59 application fee, but I will reimburse you for that once you are approved and sign the lease.

2) There is NO security deposit for you (they hang onto mine until June 30th). They did say that depending on your application they may ask for an additional deposit, but the amount listed on the website is already paid by me and you don't have to provide it.

3) Your lease will end on June 30th, 2019. Once you sign it, it's a normal lease between you and Bradford Pointe. I'm completely out of the picture (simpler for everyone involved!)

It's a third floor unit, with an awesome vaulted ceiling that makes the living room feel very spacious. The windows face north, so you don't get that harsh sun in warmer months. Central AC/heating both work well, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove, garbage disposal are all very nice and updated. There's a convenient laundry room that takes credit cards, and an Amazon hub that makes it easy to get packages delivered without worrying they'll be stolen.

I've been very happy here, especially with the maintenance response time and general comfort. Never had trouble finding a parking spot or been kept awake by noise. No pest problems. Super close to the Domain if you're into that. Everything's good, really. I just want to be closer to my new job.

They're pet friendly, but they have a lot of dog breed restrictions. Check their site if you have a large breed or anything exotic.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or think you'd like to take over half of my lease on this awesome apartment!
