RARE Mid-Century 1950s Vintage Handmade Painted DOLL Leather Shoes Head Scarf Hijab & Khimar
* MADE IN PORTUGAL / EUROPE.
* European La La Maria Helena Style Handmade Doll. Exquisite work went into this 8-inch doll with HANDMADE clothing (bloomers, slip, skirt, apron & tights - as pictured) and hand-painted face. Even the leather shoes are handmade. Hand-embroidered dress sleeves. Notice small tag on dress "Made in Portugal". Intricate costume, scarf wrapped around neck and head, hair peeking out. Balaclava hood. Highly COLLECTIBLE as dolls are not made like this anymore. There is a darken mark on red felt vest (as pictured) otherwise appears to be in GREAT vintage condition.
