I was in the process of building a big diorama that was over 4 feet wide and long. There was even going to be a scaffolding suspended above the diorama so I can hang stuff for sky and space aspects, and for mid-air action shots, etc. It was going to have a portal from which multiple Batmans and DC villains came out of, causing a bunch of mayhem in the city, so the collection is a lot of Batman and city sets, along with everything else to make the big diorama busy with a lot going on. I also got some non-Lego MOD minifigs of Alien and Predator characters so they could be involved in the mayhem. There are some other non-Lego aspects, like vendors for central park, and the non-Lego shops for along the sides that I modified to make a little bigger to fit in with the actual Lego buildings. Most things in the collection were new at the time I bought them, the rest were in like new condition.
Everything is in two 18 gallon totes, along with another tote of the boxes and manuals for the sets (pictured). The sets were built at the time they went into the totes. There has been some separation but all of the pieces are in there somewhere. I don't have an exact inventory of all of the minifigs, accessories, and individual pieces I purchased, but below is a list of the sets:

Just the sets listed above are worth over 500 at the lowest used price on the Bricklink site. And the rest of the collection could sell for at least 500 more, but I just don't have the time to inventory the whole lot and sell individually on Bricklink.
I need to mention this about the Fairground Carousel and the Star Wars Microfighters, I turned the UFO themed carousel into a Star Wars themed one. I modified the backs of the Microfighters to attach to the carousel instead of using the vehicles with the set, and I attached a Star Wars Death Star (from the 9676 - TIE Interceptor and Death Star) to the top replacing the UFO. The unused pieces are within the collection somewhere.
